Akeele Carter, Program Manager
Akeele is a graduate of Solar Richmond's training program. She grew up in a family contracting business learning the administrative operations since the tender age of twelve. Akeele has worked for Bank of America and as the Payroll Manager and Restaurant bookkeeper for a large Bay Area hotel company and has also run a a small local contracting business.

DeAngela Cooks, Case Manager
Coming to Solar Richmond from Glide Foundation, DeAngela is an experienced case manager and life coach, providing one-on-one case management and developing collaborative action plans for Solar Richmond interns. She is also a part of Solar Richmond's partnerships with the City of Oakland, Berkeley City College and Rising Sun Energy Center. A sought after performance artist, her body of work ranges from the impact of misogyny in our global community to the beauty of karma. Her engagements include serving as a speaker at a recent NAACP conference to appearing as a finalist on NBC's Comedy Serach

Jacinta Kaumbulu, Executive Operations Associate
Jacinta is originally from Nairobi,Kenya. She moved to the states at the age of 13 and has made the Bay Area her home. She has worked in the nonprofit and corporate sectors over the past 10 years, most recently coming to Solar Richmond from The Clorox Sales Company. At Clorox, she worked as a sales & marketing assistant. She is also a Bay Area professional actor, playwright, theater teacher & director. Jacinta’s passion lies with helping the community in many facets, and she is extremely proud to work with Solar Richmond and the Richmond/Bay Area community bringing social change and green job growth.

John McCall, Resident in Social Enterprise
John most recently acquired a Master's in Management from Wake Forest University in North Carolina. With experience working for a college career center and a software company whose clients are nonprofits, John is excited to help Solar Richmond promote sustainable community building through renewable energy and green job creation.

Michele McGeoy, Founder & Executive Director
Michele is a longtime entrepreneur whose Tailored Solution database software was used in many leading law schools around the country. The founder of a non-profit to address the digital divide, she also sat on the boards of United for a Fair Economy and Responsible Wealth. She founded Solar Richmond in 2006 to bring the economic advantages of the emerging green economy to her often disenfranchised Bay Area Community.

Kandea Mosley, Deputy Director
Prior to joining Solar Richmond, Kandea completed her MBA with a focus on sustainability at the Johnson Graduate School of Management at Cornell University. Kandea's most recent professional experience is in the nonprofit and solar industry sectors. Kandea comes to Solar Richmond with a passion for clean energy solutions that support inclusive wealth creation.

John Talbott, Sales Manager
John has enjoyed working among some of the most innovative people from the around the world for the last two decades, many of whom are also in clean technology today. As a former product manager for Silicon Graphics, John has helped develop new workstations used in science, technology and entertainment. After spending the last decade developing sales and marketing strategy for enterprise software companies, John now looks forward to serving the customers of Solar Richmond's cooperative business unit. John has a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University and will soon finish a Sustainability Leadership MBA at the Presidio Graduate School.

Alex Thibadeau, Outreach and Volunteer Coordinator, Climate Corps Member
Alex recently graduated from Guilford College in North Carolina where she gained experience as a community organizer for the nonprofit Food and Water Watch. It was at Food and Water Watch where Alex began to make connections between the treatment of people and the treatment of the planet - the health of the environment and the health of people. Alex is a firm believer that in order to heal our people and planet - environmental and progressive social movements must join forces. She is excited to work at Solar Richmond, a place that works towards the sustainability of our planet, economy, and people.

Troy Williams, Executive Assistant
Troy is currently attending school at Contra Costa College, earning a degree in Business Administration while minoring in Political Science. After moving to California in 2006, Troy has worked as a Sales Rep. in various retail companies, and as a representative for Club One Fitness in San Francisco. He looks forward to becoming more involved in the solar industry, and also being more active in the Richmond community.
